How Can I Copy a DVD movie?

There are many ways to copy a DVD movie however the most common is by using DVD Shrink, Nero and DVDFab HD Decrypter (follow the link for the beta version for DVDFab Decrypter). Once you have obtained and loaded these pieces of software, which are mostly free. Nero Express is usually supplied free with all OEM systems otherwise you might need to purchase it from your local computer suppliers. Slot the DVD movie into your DVD burner and open DVD Shrink

How To Use DVD Shrink

The first time you use DVD Shrink you might want to configure the preferences. To do so, press Edit - Preferences.

The first thing you'll have to do after starting up DVD Shrink is select a source. Press Open Disk to get a list of available DVD drives:


A list of all available DVD drives on your computer will be shown. Select the one containing the movie.


Alternatively if you have already ripped the DVD in file mode (thus you have a collection of .IFO, .BUP and .VOB files on your HD) press the Open Files button:
