BurnDVDOrCD

How Do I Burn Files (files of any description including music or photos) to a DVD or CD using XP or Vista

Burn or copy to CD or copy to DVD

  1. Go to Start > Open My Computer (Computer in Vista)
  2. Select the Folders icon (no need to select Folders icon in Vista)
  3. Browse to the where the photos are stored
  4. Right click on folder you want to write to CD or DVD/RW
  5. Select Send To and choose DVD or CD re-write drive

The hardest challenge is to understand how your camera interfaces (fancy word for speak to) with the computer. The easiest way to manage the photos you have taken is to simply plug your camera in and set it to the appropriate menu (see manual) > Open My Computer and select Folders icon(computer in vista) and if you have done this correctly you will see the name of you camera in the left hand panel of My Computer (Computer for Vista) > Double click on the camera icon and it will open to all your photos stored in your camera memory. This will allow you to manage you photos i.e. move to directory/folder on your PC or Delete the photos on your camera to allow more room for more photos or select all photos and right click then select Send To
