UsernamePasswordsForRouters-Modems

Default Username and Password Lists for Routers and Modems

How often is it you have gone to the trouble of setting up your modem/router ADSL connection, and some time goes by where access to the router is needed! Oops! Where did I put the username and password? If you have changed them and can't find them anywhere, you will need to reset the router/modem to default settings (see manual) and then use the default username and password list to access the router. Apart from the more robust commercial type routers such as Cisco which allows telnet to interface and configure, most routers these days have a browser interface, which make it necessary to access by username and password.
